The GLEC Framework for Logistics Emissions Methodologies has been listed by the CDP in their company guidance as the only method for logistics emissions accounting.
The CDP is the only global disclosure system for companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts and for investors or purchasers to access environmental information for use in financial decisions.
Their network has companies with a combined net-worth of 31 trillion dollars, measure and report on GHG emissions to inform decision-makers and investors. Companies thus recognize the business benefits of reporting and taking action, and are taking meaningful steps to address climate change.
