At the Climate Summit on 23 September 2014 in New York, at the invite of the UN Secretary-General, global leaders from Government, business, finance and civil society came together to announce bold commitments to action in areas that are critical for keeping global temperature increases to less than two degrees Celsius.
SFC's Executive Director Sophie Punte, accompanied by HP and DHL, spoke on global green freight at the Industry Action Announcements, which was co-chaired by Gina McCarthy, Administrator, US Environmental Protection Agency, and Doris Leuthard, Federal Councillor, Switzerland.
