Join Smart Freight Centre as a member
Smart Freight Centre’s (SFC) goal is to guide the global logistics industry, through collaboration with our global partners, towards the reduction of its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by one billion tons by 2030 and to reach zero emissions by 2050.
Organizations on their journey to freight decarbonization can become a member of the SFC community. Members have access to a wide portfolio of initiatives and projects to help them collaborate to improve their GHG emission performance and supply chain economics. Membership unlocks solutions through several SFC programs, including Global Logistics Emission Council (GLEC), Clean Cargo, Sustainable Freight Buyers Alliance (SFBA), and an (under development) air freight decarbonization initiative.

This includes shippers, logistics service providers, carriers, original equipment manufacturers, non-governmental organizations, decarbonization tool providers, civil society organizations, academia, public institutions as well as industry innovators.
- You can gain access to exclusive membership services, events and training, plus stay up-to-date about the latest guidelines and reports in the sector
Membership types
We offer a two-tiered membership structure: Premium and Base.
- Premium Members have access to SFBA and all of the initiatives included in the Base membership (GLEC, Clean Cargo, and a future air freight initiative).
- Base Members have access to GLEC, Clean Cargo, and the future air freight initiative.
