Searoutes CO2e API is now accredited by Smart Freight Centre
Amsterdam, 3 June 2021 - Companies can calculate their logistics-based carbon emissions in conformance with the GLEC Framework, using Searoute's CO2e API.
Searoute's CO2e API provides CO2 emissions calculation seamlessly accessible to carriers, shippers and freight forwarders to report, analyze and reduce their Scope 3 carbon emissions.
With the completion of the accreditation process, Smart Freight Centre (SFC) confirms that Searoutes methodology to estimate CO2e emissions is accredited by SFC to provide calculations of greenhouse gas emissions for freight and logistics operations. The methodology is in conformance with the Global Logistics Emissions Council Framework for Logistics Emissions Methodologies (GLEC Framework) © ®
This accreditation also means that carriers, shippers and freight forwarders are able to implement the GLEC Framework by using Searoutes CO2e API.
